Basant Bhandara is an event of Annual Congregation, Started by Mahatma Raghubar Dayal Ji Maharaj more than 80 years back. There is history behind this tradition. Chacha Ji Maharaj ( Mahatma Raghubar Dayal Ji) was visited by numerous disciples every day and all 365 days of year. Many of the disciples insisted to fix a particular day, when all the disciples assemble together for mass meditation. Chacha Ji Maharaj fixed the day of Basant Panchami ( start of spring season) for the event. Since then it is celebrated without any break. It is believed that spiritual energy is highest during these days due to blessings of these all divine souls. Event includes mass meditation, feast and visit to Shrine.
